Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has lauded Juventus captain – Gianluigi Buffon as an example for all footballers. The Spaniard also called Buffon a legend and says the Italian number one will be remembered as of one the best goalkeepers in the history of the game. Ramos must meanwhile hope Buffon becomes an example of a basket goalkeeper when the final of the Champion’s League is played between Madrid and Juve.
“Buffon is a legend and he will be remembered as one of the best goalkeepers in the history of football,” he said.
“He is an example for anyone who wants to live and experience this sport and he has shown that age has been no barrier.”
Buffon, 39, is aiming to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time when Juve face Madrid in the final in Cardiff on Saturday.
