The Nigeria national team remained at number 40 in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday. The Super Eagles remained unmoved from their position from last month’s ranking. The good news is, Nigeria’s jollof rice competitors – Ghana are below Nigeria in 45th.
The three-time African champions were adjudged the same rank in the world according to March ratings.
Brazil retained their top spot on the ranking. Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia, France, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain completes the top ten.
Egypt are Africa’s highest ranked team in 19th. Senegal, Cameroon and Burkina Faso are the other African countries ahead of Nigeria.
