Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho has suggested that he will rest some of his key players against Arsenal on Sunday. He says many of the players have played lots of matches and he will rest some of them ahead of the Europa League semi-final second leg match against Celta Vigo. It is yet to be seen what Mourinho’s weakened team will look like with many of his players out injured, maybe it will be Axel Tuanzebe and Mourinho at centre-back.
“The players that will play in accumulation and the players that are with a lot of minutes – because we played nine matches in April and this one, so 10 matches in four and half weeks – the players that are in accumulation will not play next weekend.”
The Red Devils are five points above Arsenal on the table ahead of Sunday’s visit to the Emirates Stadium, while the Gunners have a game in hand in the fight for a top-four finish.
