Shamrock Rovers did what was needed and actually got their victory in quite easy and professional manner, as the team won over Bray in front of own fans with a 2:0 result on Tuesday evening. They entered the game very strongly and took the lead in fifth minute with a goal from Miele, doubling up the lead in 20th minute via Shaw.
They lowered the tempo from that moment on, but still had some decent chances till the end of the match, while the players of Bray generally weren’t up to their best and looked worse than what was expected. This was third consecutive home victory for Shamrock as the team remains with more than decent 6-1-2 record in front of own crowd, being at the moment at fifth position with just two points less than third placed Bray. The team surely wants to keep good home momentum and approach even further European positions with a three pointer here.
Midfielder David McAllister missed previous game but is expected to return here in place of Ryan Connolly. Midfielder Darren Meenan (14/1) remains probably absent for this one. They should be lined up in 4-4-2 formation with Shaw and Burke as forwards.
