Guingamp dind’t look anywhere close to well, like in previous couple of matches, last time out when the team visited Angers and suffered 3:0 defeat. Despite having equal ball possession to their opponents, the side did very little in attack, with the hosts remaining more dangerous with the home team risking more and deservedly celebrating the victory.
They open up the scoreline in 63rd minute via Bamba, but doubled it up just six minutes later via Mangani sealing the victory in 83rd minute with a goal from Diedhiou. This defeat broke their mini run of two undefeated matches, as Guingamp remains tenth at the table, having ten points more than relegating worried Nancy. In front of own fans they remain strong with 8-3-3 record so far and no doubt that the side wants to continue positive momentum.
Sloan Privat returned from injury, but will most likely start from the bench. Injured are goalkeeper Romain Salin (1/0), left full back Dorian Leveque (2/0) and offensive midfielder Nicolas Benezet (5/1) all with very limited influence so far.

Nancy, on the other side, comes from quite difficult 2:3 defeat in front of own fans against Lorient two weeks ago. Outcome is especially difficult and poor for their psychology, since the team had 2:0 lead in the first halftime thanks to goals from Maouassa and Dia, but completely collapsed in the second halftime.
Players of Lorient played a bit more riskier and took advantage of it, reducing the deficit in 68th minute via Moukandjo, but also using the lack of concentration of home players, scoring twice more in last ten minutes via Lautoa and Mvuemba. Nancy is now at eighteenth position with just three points more than rock bottom placed Lorient and tied up with safely placed Dijon. It was another continuation of poor results, as the team suffered seven defeats and has just one draw in last eight Ligue 1 matches.
Midfielder Beneoit Pedretti (22/1) is suspended for this one, while injured remain left back and sometimes central defender Tobias Badila (21/1) and midfielders Youssef Ait Bennasser (22/3) and Abdou Karim Coulibaly (9/0). Doubtful for the match remains midfielder Faitout Maouassa (7/1) due foot injury.
- Nancy have lost 7 of their last 8 matches (Ligue 1).
Guingamp is playing way better in front of own fans and I expect them to bounce back with much better performance here. Nancy is far away from their best form and have really big problems in attack, since they remain goalless on the road in last four Ligue 1 matches. Having that in mind, I don’t see the visiting team remaining very competitive in this one.
