Guardiola bores the players with videos at Manchester City – Pablo Zabaleta

In case you need a clue of what Manchester City players try to do sometimes that results in some comedic defending, Argentine defender – Pablo Zabaleta gives us a clue. City’s defender, Zabaleta says most of the players are bored by the videos Pep Guardiola makes them to watch. Don’t get it twisted, he is not talking about Sanyeri, Jenifa or Aki and Pawpaw videos, he is talking about video analysis of football matches, of how Guardiola wants the team to play.

“We watch a lot of videos, and sometimes I know it’s a bit boring for some of the players to be watching videos every day,” he said. “But [it’s great] for the players who really love football and enjoy watching … I’m talking about 20 minutes of video, or 25 minutes, not an hour or two hours!”

“He’s always trying to improve the players and to improve the team,” he said.

“He likes to play out from the back and for the player on the ball to have two or three options.

“He likes always to give you solutions and information. The way he prepares for games is just fantastic.”

The Citizens are third on the Premier League standings, 12 points behind Chelsea with 10 games remaining. They are in the semi-final of the FA Cup where they have been drawn against Arsenal and have been knocked out of the Champions League.
