Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says he wants the BBC guys – Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to stay, though he admits anything can happen. Bale and Benzema have been linked with an exit from the Madrid club, to make way for Kylian Mbappe – who may join Madrid in a world record deal. The French coach was also coy on the likelihood of Mbappe joining Madrid.
“Let’s hope that all of the members of the ‘BBC’ stay here,” Zidane told Madrid’s official website. “I want the ‘BBC’ to stay put, it’s the same for all of the players who are here. That said, up until Aug. 31 anything can happen.”
On Mbappe, Zidane added: “I’m the coach here and you’d have to ask someone else about that. We’re working on things and we’ll see what happens. We’ve got the players who are here now and we’ll just have to see what happens.”
