Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro says his compatriot Neymar Jr. will be welcomed at Real Madrid if the Barcelona forward decides to thread the figo-path. There is a huge speculation around the 25-year-old future, he is reportedly considering joining Paris Saint-Germain, who are willing to pay his €222 million release clause and push through the move.
“It is up to Neymar himself to decide his own future,” Casemiro said at Levi’s Stadium.
“He knows what he must do. Why could he not play here at Real Madrid? He would be welcome here with us.”
“I haven’t spoken with Neymar, but I wish him the best,” Casemiro said. “He is a great player, I admire him a lot. He knows what he is doing, behind they are all very capable, his father is a great person, who knows what he is doing.
“If he does leave Barcelona, I wish him all the luck in the world. If he stays, I also wish him all the best in the world.”
Before Neymar moved to Barcelona from Santos in 2013, Madrid had tried to sign the youngster.
