Arsene Wenger says Giroud is going no where

Arsene Wenger has announced that he is not tired of seeing Olivier Giroud and the French international is going no where.

Giroud has been linked with every club that won’t play in the Champions League next season, and with growing calls for his sugar daddy (Arsene Wenger) to leave the club, Giroud’s place in the team has grown weaker than tissue paper.

However, Arsene Wenger placed such rumours along with reports of a move to Marseille inside a casket at a news conference on Tuesday.

“I have had no approach from Marseille and we want to keep Olivier Giroud at the club,” Wenger said.

Despite signing a long term contract with the Gunners earlier in the season, Giroud’s total minutes on the pitch this season isn’t enough to say “hello” on the phone- with Wenger favouring Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck over him.
