Barcelona sign young defender Santiago Bueno from Penarol

Santiago Bueno, right, will join up with Barcelona B after the South American Youth Championship. Barcelona have confirmed the signing of teenage defender Santiago Bueno from CA Penarol. Bueno, 18, has signed a contract with Barca until 2019 and will join up with Barca B upon the conclusion of the ongoing South American Youth Championship in Ecuador, where he is representing Uruguay. Reports in Catalonia claim Barca will pay an initial fee of €1 million. Penarol will also retain 20 percent of the centre-back's rights and could receive another €5m based on the number of first team...
