Another Super Eagles player set for China move

As we continue taking our Mandarin lessons and continue getting used to Chinese names, another Super Eagles player is on his way to make his payday more joyous by moving to China. According to reports, Watford striker Odion Ighalo is close to completing a move to Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai after passing a medical.

Watford are believed to have accepted a fee in the region of £20 million from Changchun Yatai and Ighalo has now agreed to the move despite interest from some Premier League clubs like West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace but Watford were keen to sell to China rather than a domestic rival.

Ighalo has struggled for goals this season after scoring 17 in his debut season in the Premier League. With the capture of Mauro Zarate and Mbaye Niang, it may be in the interest of Ighalo to secure a move elsewhere else he gets a customized place on the bench.
